Years later, all of that gallivanting and hopscotching has caught up with me, right as I enter the professional world. I ask myself, “How can I overcome this, and stay productive at work?” With these 7 simple tools, hints, and accessories, you also can be free of Lower Back-Pain, more healthy, focused and productive.
ONE- Stand- Up Desk
This seems like a no-brainer, but getting the right stand-up desk is clutch. So many brands, and here is the one that I use. It is a Vari-desk, desktop model that can turn any regular workspace into a standing workspace in seconds. Sleek design, spring assisted lift, and it has served me well!
TWO- Posture
For working at your new stand-up desk, you must create a positive posture. Slouching or standing on one foot over time can do more damage than good. Throughout your day, focusing on posture and breathing can increase blood-flow and overall health, as well as a reduction in Lower Back Pain.

After an arduous dive into Excel, or checking that mountain of emails in the inbox, by embracing that steaming mug of tea, or just taking a moment to breathe some fresh air, this micro-minutes recharge and reset my mind for the next task. By creating a goal for the end of the day, whether it be a rewarding hike with the dogs, or drinks with friends, the path to the stable is shorter if you know warm grain and clean water await you!
